FAQ
It is important to be as precise as possible when taking measurements, to make sure that your hat is neither too big nor too small. You need to measure your head using a tape measure or even a piece of string and a ruler. Place the tape measure or string around your head, in the position where your hat will sit this should be about 1 cm above your ears. Do not pull the tape too tightly. If the measurement is between two sizes, always choose the larger size.
Work commences on your hat as soon as you place your order. Hats take four weeks to make.
The workshop is in Motta di Livenza, in the province of Treviso, immersed in the countryside near Venice.
General guidelines:
• To maintain the shape of your hat, always remove it by holding the front and back brim at the same time. Don’t grip it by the crown when taking it off.
• Never leave your hat in direct sunlight, or on the baggage shelf in a car, as it may shrink and fade.
• Clean your hat with a pure silk brush, and always brush the fibres in their natural direction.
Of course! Every hat is made exclusively to order. You can choose to customise a product from the collection, or you can contact me to create your own Max Roma Custom Hat from zero.
Hats can be purchased from anywhere in the world.
Due to the very personal nature of each MRH, it is not possible to return a hat, except in those cases envisaged by law.
